Margaret Kirby joins NHCA as Director of Clinical Reimbursement
National Health Care Associates is pleased to name Margaret Kirby as its Director of Clinical Reimbursement. Margaret brings over 24 years of experience in long-term care, including 20 years in clinical reimbursement and MDS/RAI process.
A proven leader with meticulous attention to detail, she is recognized for her expertise in enhancing clinical reimbursement tools and systems.
Before joining NHCA, she worked for large long-term care organizations supporting numerous centers and overseeing clinical reimbursement teams. A subject matter expert on Medicare, Managed Care, and Medicaid reimbursement and regulatory issues, she has implemented policies and procedures to meet state and federal regulations.
As Director of Clinical Reimbursement, Margaret will provide oversight of the resident assessment process, clinical reimbursement policies and play a central role in clinical quality, education, and development.
Margaret has served on the PANAC board as both vice president and president. She is currently a member of AANAC, PANAC and achieved her geriatric certification through ANCC with an RN license in CT, MA, NJ and PA. She also holds RAC-CT, RAC-CTA certifications through AANAC, and DNS-CT and QCP certification through ANCC.
