As part of our ongoing efforts to provide residents and their families with peace of mind, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have developed a WE CARE Family Communication Plan. This plan outlines our efforts and commitment to providing valuable information and updates to families and loved ones and will go into full effect on May 5, 2020.

NHCA Welcomes Matthew Lessard as Regional Director of Operations, Maine

National Health Care Associates is pleased to welcome Matthew Lessard, MS HPM, CNHA, FACHCA, as Regional Director of Operations for Maine. Matthew brings over 16 years of expertise as a licensed nursing home administrator. He holds advanced certification in Nursing Home Administration from the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA), having achieved the distinction of Fellow.

NHCA Centers Take Steps to Prevent COVID-19

The health and safety of our patients have always been our top priority but is especially so in light of the recent Covid-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak. We are stringently following guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and State Departments of Health, including, but not limited to, admission screening and infection control protocols. We are also adhering to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements for employee, patient and visitor screenings, limited visitations, and precautions in all of our Centers.

The centers earned Best Nursing Homes status by achieving a rating of “High Performing,” the highest possible rating, for Short-Term Rehabilitation and/or Long-Term Care.
